BOLKIAH GARRISON, Saturday, 03 April 2021 – By the consent of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Negara Brunei Darussalam and in supporting the Whole of Nation Approach to control the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, Brigadier General Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) received his first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at the Medical Reception Service (MRS), Bolkiah Garrison. Among those who also received the first dose of the vaccine was Colonel (Dr) Hj Awg Mohd Hafizul bin Hj Mohd Awg Hassan, Chief Medical Officer and front liners comprised of officers and personnel of RBLF.
Brunei Darussalam officially began its national vaccination program for COVID-19 at vaccination centers throughout the country on 03 April 2021 and an initial total of identified 1,900 frontline personnel will receive the vaccine following the Ministry of Health's Guidelines.
The vaccine distribution is divided into three phases: Phase one for the front liners including uniformed personnel from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) and health facility staff as well as those involved in quarantines and immigration post control affairs; Phase two for staff at childcare centres, high-risk adults and teachers and Phase three for the public aged 18 and above.

BOLKIAH GARISON, Sabtu, 03 April 2021 – Dalam menjunjung Titah Perkenan Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam dan menyahut Whole of Nation Approach iaitu dalam pengawalan wabak COVID-19, Brigedier Jeneral Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Pemerintah Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) menerima dos pertama vaksin COVID-19 bertempat di Bangunan Pusat Khidmat Perubatan dan Kesihatan (MRS), Bolkiah Garison. Diantara yang menerima dos pertama Vaksin COVID-19 ialah Kolonel (Dr) Hj Awg Mohd Hafizul bin Hj Mohd Awg Hassan, Ketua Pegawai Perubatan, Pegawai-pegawai dan anggota-anggota TDDB yang terlibat dengan tugas selaku barisan hadapan.
Negara Brunei Darussalam secara rasmi telah memulai program vaksinasi COVID-19 di pusat-pusat vaksinasi di seluruh negara bermula pada 03 April 2021 dan sejumlah 1,900 petugas barisan hadapan yang telah dikenalpasti akan menerima suntikan vaksin tersebut dengan mengikut garispandu yang telah ditetapkan oleh Kementerian Kesihatan.
Pembahagian vaksin dibahagikan kepada tiga fasa yang mana fasa pertama adalah untuk barisan hadapan termasuk anggota beruniform dari Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB), Pasukan Polis Diraja Brunei (PPDB) dan kakitangan kemudahan kesihatan serta mereka yang terlibat dalam kuarantin dan urusan kawalan Pos Imigresen. Manakala, fasa kedua adalah untuk kakitangan di pusat jagaan kanak-kanak, orang dewasa yang berisiko tinggi dan guru, dan diakhiri dengan fasa ketiga iaitu untuk orang awam yang berumur 18 tahun ke atas.
